Pitching is on fire again.

Several stars on the mound — both fresh-faced and well-traveled — lit it up last season, including a rookie in Pittsburgh.

It's nearly time to see which flamethrowers can etch their names in the MLB history books after the 2025 season.

Let's take a look at the odds for the AL and NL Cy Young Awards at FanDuel Sportsbook as of June 25.

American League Cy Young 2025

Tarik Skubal: -150 (bet $10 to win $16.67 total)
Garrett Crochet: +300 (bet $10 to win $40 total)
Hunter Brown: +700 (bet $10 to win $80 total)
Max Fried: +1100 (bet $10 to win $120 total)
Jacob deGrom: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)

What to know: Detroit's Tarik Skubal was last season's winner in the AL, and it looks like he just might go back-to-back. The 28-year-old is off to a strong start in 2025, with 125 strikeouts in 16 starts, alongside a 2.29 ERA and 0.87 WHIP. The last pitcher to win the award twice in a row was Jacob deGrom for the New York Mets in 2018 and 2019. Second on the board is Boston's Garrett Crochet at +200, who is 7-4 with a 2.06 ERA in 17 starts.

National League Cy Young 2025

Paul Skenes: -290 (bet $10 to win $13.45 total)
Zack Wheeler: +500 (bet $10 to win $60 total)
Logan Webb: +1000 (bet $10 to win $110 total)
Yoshinobu Yamamoto: +3500 (bet $10 to win $360 total)

What to know: Pittsburgh's Paul Skenes can't buy a win. He is 4-6 through 15 starts, but most of that has to do with a lack of offensive support. He leads the league with a 1.85 ERA and ranks second with a 0.88 WHIP, in addition to 106 strikeouts so far this season. Sitting below Skenes on the oddsboard is Philadelphia's Zack Wheeler at +500, who is 7-2 with a 2.61 ERA in 15 starts.
