Here is what to know about the CFP title oddsboard:

The Defending Champs: No. 1 OSU (6-0) remained in the top spot on the oddsboard after a 34-16 win over then-No. 17 Illinois (now unranked), and it has now outscored its first six opponents 221-41. Ohio State now has one win that was within seven points — a 14-7 win over then-No. 1 Texas in Week 1. It has beat every other opponent on its schedule by at least 18 points. So who can stop the Buckeyes from going undefeated in the regular season? They have games left against Wisconsin, Penn State (without Drew Allar), Purdue, UCLA, Rutgers and Michigan — none of which are currently ranked.

Tide Rising: After a season-opening loss to unranked Florida State, Alabama figured to be a lost cause. However, it has flipped that conversation on its head with five straight wins, including a 24-21 win at then-No. 5 Georgia in Week 5, a 30-14 win over then-No. 16 Vanderbilt in Week 6, and a 27-24 win at No. 14 Missouri in Week 7. What a three-game run. With that most recent win, and Oregon's Week 7 loss, Bama is now second on the title oddsboard and ranked sixth in the nation.

Winners and Losers: Oregon was second on the oddsboard last week and ranked third in the nation, but suffered its first loss of the season, a 30-20 home defeat at the hands of then-No. 7 Indiana. The Ducks dropped from +500 last week to +1200 this week, and are now ranked seventh in the AP poll, while the Hoosiers moved from +3500 all the way up to +950, and are now the third-ranked team in the country. Oklahoma also suffered defeat for the first time this season, going down in the Red River Showdown 23-6. It also went down in the odds, moving from +1800 last week to +2500 this week. OU also moved from No. 6 to No. 14 in the rankings. With the win, Texas moved from +1800 to +1600 on the title oddsboard, and went from unranked to No. 21 in the AP poll.

CFP Changes: There will be some changes heading into the next College Football Playoff when it comes to seeding, potentially making the path smoother for some of those premier programs. In late May, the CFP committee approved a proposal in which the four highest-ranked teams would earn the top four seeds and a first-round bye, removing the previous conference champion requirement. The top five ranked conference champions will still earn playoff spots. Last season, the top four seeds — Oregon, Georgia, Boise State and Arizona State — all received a bye and then lost in their quarterfinal matchups. Had the new format been in place, No. 1 Oregon, No. 2 Georgia, No. 3 Texas and No. 4 Penn State would have been the top four seeds and had byes.
