2025-26 NFL MVP odds

Matthew Stafford, QB, Rams: -215

What to know: Stafford can't stop ballin'. L.A. is 9-2, and both of its losses involved some bad luck on their end. However, Stafford has an NFL-best 30 passing TDs and also has 2,830 yards through the air (fifth). He moved from +150 to -215 after the Rams' drubbing of Tampa Bay in Week 12. In the victory, he had 273 passing yards and three touchdowns. He hasn't thrown a pick since Week 3.

Drake Maye, QB, Patriots: +200

What to know: Maye appears to be Stafford's only competition at this point. He moved from +185 last week to +200 this week. The Pats have won nine straight behind their second-year QB, who is quickly turning into a star. In Week 12, he had 294 passing yards, a pick and a touchdown in a win over the Bengals. He leads the NFL in passing yards with 3,130, and it appears more than likely his Pats will win the AFC East for the first time since Tom Brady was in New England.

Jonathan Taylor, RB, Colts: +1800

What to know: Taylor didn't have the game of his life in a Week 12 loss to the Chiefs (16 carries, 58 yards), but he still leads the NFL in carries, rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. He is the catalyst for an Indy offense that is second in the NFL in yards per game (384). The Colts are 8-3 and a game ahead of the Jaguars in the AFC South.

Josh Allen, QB, Bills: +2200

What to know: Allen is … out of the running? His Bills lost their fourth game of the season in Week 12, and Allen had 253 passing yards, two interceptions and no touchdowns. This is coming off a Week 11 performance in which he had six total touchdowns against the Buccaneers (along with another two picks). With the defeat, and Allen's shaky individual showing, he dropped from +475 all the way to +2200.

Patrick Mahomes, QB, Chiefs: +2500

What to know: The two-time regular-season MVP was at +1600 last week, and now he's at +2500, despite K.C. earning a comeback win over the Colts. In the overtime win, he had 352 passing yards, no touchdowns and one interception. The Chiefs are now 6-5 on the season, and still in playoff contention. But in Kansas City's last four games — two wins and two losses — he has four TDs and five interceptions.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Seahawks: +2800

What to know: Making an appearance near the top of this board is Seattle's star wideout, who is continuing to dominate week in and week out. He is tied for first in the NFL in receptions (80) and his 1,313 receiving yards are far and away the most in the league. He had 167 receiving yards and two touchdowns in Week 12, and he now has eight 100-yard receiving games for the 8-3 Seahawks.
