Prime Day is here until July 11. During this time, Prime members will have access to sales on everything from electronics to home essentials at some of the lowest prices of the year.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is one of the biggest summer sale events and veterans of this sale know it is the best time to find deals across every category, from electronics and kitchen appliances to air purifiers, outdoor items, sleep products and more. You can find the latest deals on Amazon's Prime Day hub during the four-day event.
How to prepare for Amazon Prime Day
- Make sure you are an Amazon Prime member to access exclusive deals. If you're not a Prime member, you can sign up or start a free trial to access the Prime Day deals. Prime membership costs $139 annually or $14.99 per month – and if you're a student, you can take advantage of special pricing discounts on a Prime membership.
- Download the Amazon App. Click here for the app on Apple devices or here to download it from Google for Android users. It will be your best friend on Prime Day. It allows for quick access to deals, order status checks and customer support. Many features, like deal alerts, are best utilized within the app.
- Add products you are interested in to your wishlist, Amazon cart or "Save for Later" list. If you have an Alexa-enabled device like an Echo Dot, you can ask it to notify you about deals on products you've added to your "Wish List" or cart.
